We are in Brihadeeswara Temple in India, and I am going to show some solid evidence that ancient Indians were well connected to the rest of the world. This temple was built in 1010 A.D, so it's just over a thousand years old. You can see plenty of Gods and saints carved on the temple tower, but here you can see a European carved on the temple. This is really surprising because Historians will tell us the first European to reach South India was Vasco Da Gama in 1498, but this temple was built 500 years before his arrival.
Does this carving really show a European? To understand this, let's take a look at this carving in the same temple which shows how ancient Indians looked and dressed. You can see how they wore a lot of jewelry, but usually did not wear shirts because South India is a very hot place. Notice the hairdo where they pulled up the hair to the side. This is confirmed by another carving which shows a similar hairdo, and it also shows a broad nose.
Going back to this figure, you'll see the exact opposite. He wears a top hat, but no jewelry. His shirt is shown with long sleeves and a collar because it is usually cold in Europe. His nose is carved sharp, and he even has a beard, as opposed to Indians who were clean shaven. His hair is let loose to the sides, and if you look at his hands and his face, it is almost looking like he is posing for the sculptor who made it.
If you compare this carving with Robert II, the King of France during the same period, it is almost an accurate match. Notice that the beard and the hair of the King matches with the carving. Even the long sleeves and collar are consistent. The only difference is that the King is shown with a crown in Europe, and here he is shown with a hat.
It is very likely that this carving shows King Robert II of France because only Gods, Kings and Saints are usually carved on Hindu temple towers. How is such an accurate carving possible? Were the world leaders connected 1000 years ago, just like they are connected today? Are there any other carvings in this temple that show people from other countries as well?
Here is another carving in the same temple that is also quite incredible. This clearly shows a Chinese man with a long beard and a long mustache. Here is a painting of an ancient King who ruled China. Look how, he too has a long beard and a long mustache. Remarkably, he wears a similar headdress in the painting, just like the carving shows. History tells us that the world was not connected before 1500s, but these carvings clearly show that the Indian King Raja Raja had international connections on both sides of the world. How were these international communications possible without advanced technology?

This is the Konark Sun Temple in India, and I am going to show you a sculpture that flies in the face of mainstream history. Historians claim that Africa had no connection with India until Vasco Da Gama reached India in 1498.
But look at this carving, it clearly shows a Giraffe on the left side and all its legs, body and long neck are shown with remarkable accuracy. Notice how even its face, the ears and even its long tail are carved perfectly depicting a real giraffe. This is incredible, because Giraffes are found only in Africa, and this temple was built no later than 1250 A.D. And Giraffes are not found in Egypt, where we know advanced civilization existed, but are found far down south in the African continent. According to historians Vasco Da Gama was the first person to ever visit India from Africa. They claim that he had briefly explored Africa, before reaching India in 1498. How is an African Giraffe accurately carved at least two hundred and fifty years before Vasco Da Gama's arrival to India?
Let us to take a good look at the entire carving. It clearly shows an Indian King sitting on an Elephant on the left side. You can even see another person sitting in front of him who controls the elephant. On the right side, you can side several people wearing long skirts standing on the ground. The clothing and the faces are carved distinctly different from other Indian sculptures, to show that they are African people. It also looks like they are lifting a few other people who are giving something to the Indian King. On the far right you can see the Giraffe, and a young boy sitting on it, while there is bystander watching this entire scene. All this happens under a tree that has very large flowers, almost the size of an elephant's head.
Did this meeting happen while an Indian King was traveling to Africa? It's less likely because the sculptor who carved this, would have not have seen it. It's much more likely that African travelers visited India way before Vasco Da Gama, which is not mentioned in anywhere in History. And whether this journey took place through land or water, it is truly a remarkable feat to bring a Giraffe alive through such a long trip.
So, now we know that India was connected to Africa, centuries before what the history claims. It also proves that ancient Africans had a very advanced civilization that was capable of making journeys to other continents. Is it possible that ancient Africans and Indians had established trade routes between continents? Thanks to the Indian sculptor for carving such an accurate scene, because without this we would just be depending on mainstream historians.

Let us take a look at the ancient rock cutting techniques of India, and how they were able to transform rocks into beautiful sculptures. Sometimes, they were also able to convert an entire mountain into beautifully carved temples by doing an extraordinary amount of rock cutting. Even though rock cutting started as early as 200 B.C, the height of rock cutting technology was reached around 600 A.D by Pallavas in South India. Even though there is a lot of evidence of ancient tools that were really advanced, in this video let us stick to the conventional theory of using chisels and hammers.
This is the first phase of rock cutting, where they carved a hole that is 1 inch wide and 2 inch deep. After making a hole like this, they would place a wooden wedge and hammer it in. Then, they would pour hot water into it and the wood would start expanding inside the rock. Now, this is not going to crack the rock open, but what happens when you make a series of such holes and place wedges into them?
Here you can see how a rock has been completely split into 2 halves and one of them is missing, which means it was transported to a temple and probably made into a beautiful sculpture. We are looking at the other half that was just not used. And this is granite by the way, one of the hardest rocks in the world. You can see how smooth the face of the split rock is.
Once the rock has been split like this, they would start the second phase. You can see how they made rectangular pattern on the smooth side of the rock. Measurements would be made, and the rock would be divided into rectangular parts, according to the size of the sculpture that would be created. Once this is done, the unwanted rectangles would be removed by chiseling them away. For example, if all the rectangles except the middle one were chiseled away, the middle rectangle would stand out as a raised platform.
The third phase is the careful carving of figures on this raised platform. This is the most important part as it would need a lot of meticulous work and precise artistic carving. The Pallavas of South India were able to create some amazing reliefs, sculptures and cave architecture. One example is the Kailasa temple of Ellora, where they carved an entire mountain and created a beautiful temple. It is estimated that over 400,000 tons of rock were carved out of this mountain to create this temple. Over ten thousand Pallava sculptors were transported from the south to North India to create this. Another example is the world's second largest relief that was created in Mahabalipuram.
